03 Before you write

Questions we are usually asked first.

  • 01How long does incorporation take?
    It depends on the structure and the approvals your business needs. A private limited company is usually registered within a few weeks; the licences that follow take longer. You get a dated plan for your own case at the first meeting, not a generic estimate.
  • 02Can we talk before we have decided anything?
    Yes, and earlier is better. The structure you choose decides most of what follows, and it is easier to choose well before a timetable exists.
  • 03Do you take one-off work?
    Yes. A single contract review or one compliance question is a normal request, alongside the continuing engagements.
  • 04Who will we actually deal with?
    The Japan desk, working with the named professional who leads each practice. All eleven people, with their qualifications and years of practice, are on the About page.
